Proof of concept for demonstration purposes of a physical button to initiate an SMS sending to a list of mobile numbers. The button uses WIFI for connectivity and allows the button action setting to be managed through the cloud infrastructure. The button works with a lithium battery for an interesting wireless autonomy.
An example of its use would be that an attendant in a hospital could press to notify a maintenance crew that hand sanitizer is missing from the hand sanitizer dispenser at their station.
Challenges
Few choices of production equipment are available to build the solution as per the customer’s requirements. Our expertise allowed us to make an informed choice quickly.
